The two have reportedly hired a wedding designer
Celebrity couple Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are reportedly close to tying the knot, as the two recently hired a wedding designer to help plan their nuptials.
The singers, who have been dating for less than a year, connected romantically in 2015 after ending their respective marriages and subsequently meeting on NBC’s The Voice. Now they are reportedly working with celebrity wedding planner Jerri Woolworth to help make their big day a reality.
TMZ reports that Woolworth, who has offices in New York and Tennessee, is definitely onboard, although a wedding date has not been set.
Meanwhile, Stefani had previously revealed she went through a very emotional time when her rocky marriage finally ended.
The 46-year-old singer was previously married to Gavin Rossdale, 50, and the two had three children together. It’s been speculated that he was having an affair with their children’s nanny, but the Make Me Like You artist prefers to keep such details private.
She explained to America’s Cosmopolitan magazine: “Nobody except for my parents, the people involved, and whoever they told [know specifics]. Nobody would believe it if I could really say what happened. I went through months and months of torture.”
When asked if she suspected that anything was going on, she revealed: “All you have to do is listen to every single song I’ve ever written and it’s all there. It’s an ongoing theme that I’ve had for a long time.”
Though the singer is reportedly much happier these days, she was initially cautious about Shelton because they both had certain trust issues.
“We were both having trust issues, as you would if you were us,” she stated.
