Jared Leto would love to have a “surprise child”

Jared Leto recently joked that he has two children living in Arizona and thinks it would be “beautiful” if he learned about having a secret child somewhere.

The Suicide Squad actor, who was previously in a relationship with Cameron Diaz, admitted this would be a surprising and pleasant piece of news.

The star said: “You never know. Someone could always come up to a show and give me a little surprise visit. ‘Dad?’ In a way, that would be kind of f**king beautiful. What an incredible surprise that would be!”

Leto stated that the varied activities he often performs are “designed to distract people, so no one asks about the marriage I’ve been in for 10 years and the two kids I have in Arizona.”

Although the 44-year-old actor isn’t dating anyone at this time, he insists he would keep such details to himself anyway.

“Even if I was in a relationship or maybe if I was having kids, I don’t know if I would share that information publicly. You know what I’ve learned about women? I know absolutely nothing about women,” he revealed.

The actor, who plays The Joker in the upcoming DC film, also says he isn’t sure whether he wants to ever get married.

When asked about possibly tying the knot, he shared: “I don’t think there’s a definitive decision that I’ve made.”

Leto has always treasured his privacy, admitting to have lied about his childhood after learning that the late River Phoenix used to do the same.

He admitted: “I lied about it so much, I don’t know what the truth is. I remember River Phoenix saying in an interview that he tried to lie as much as possible, and I just took that approach ever since.”
