Brown reportedly punched him on the face and neck
The 27-year-old singer and dancer is reportedly being sued by his manager, Michael Guirguis (also known as Mike G), claiming Brown brutally attacked him. Brown is accused of repeatedly punching Guirguis in the face and neck, leaving him hospitalized as a result.
Guirguis’s attorney, Patty Glaser, told TMZ: “We did everything we could to resolve this in a non-public way to avoid damage to Chris Brown. Regrettably, as outlined in our complaint, Chris Brown has proven to be his own worst enemy.”
Lawsuit documents state that Brown not only beat him up, but proof was also posted on social media, adding: “Working on his tour, if they got out of line he’d beat them just like he beat Mike G.”
Guirguis is the owner of Nitevision Management. He was hired in 2012 to improve Brown’s public image after he pleaded guilty in 2009 for assaulting Rihanna.
The new lawsuit comes out after Brown was accused of hurting a man at a nightclub during the Cannes Film Festival in May 2016. In addition, the mother of Brown’s 2-year-old child, Nia Guzman, claimed he was unfit for unsupervised visits with his daughter.
During that timeframe, Brown posted his feelings on Guzman’s social media account for her having disclosed what he felt was a provocative picture of their daughter. A judge later denied Guzman’s request for supervised visits, however. The judge continued to allow the arrangement of joint legal custody, giving Chris 12 days a month to be with his daughter.
