The actress expresses no hard feelings as a means of forgiveness.
As a newlywed, the 41-year-old actress has reportedly been very happy since divorcing ex-husband Tony Parker in 2011. There are claims that Parker was unfaithful, but Longoria has no hard feelings about the split.
In a recent interview with Closer magazine, Longoria spoke about her ex-husband, revealing: “So many people want me to hate him and destroy him, but I don’t want to. I want him to be happy. He’s not a bad person. I do believe in forgiving and forgetting. There was a reason we were together. I just want to hold on to the good times.”
Longoria says she lives a joyous life and even credits the new marriage for her good looks. While discussing her glowing appearance, she said, “No matter how late it is, I always take off my make-up. I cleanse, tone, and moisturize every single morning and night. I’m religious about it. I love putting on masks and scrubs and I make sure I have lots of water and sleep.”
She continued, “And, of course, being in love makes a big difference to how you look. It makes your eyes sparkle and your skin glow. I always tell my friends that being in love is guaranteed to make you look gorgeous.”
Her new husband is Jose “Pepe” Baston, president of Televisa, the largest media company in Latin America.
The Desperate Housewives star is set to appear on BBC’s Evelyn Waugh adaptation Decline And Fall. Others joining the actress include Jack Whitehall, David Suchet and Douglas Hodge.
