Paris Jackson goes to prom, gets tattoo, and more.
Before Michael Jackson passed away in 2009, he shrouded his children in secrecy to make sure the paparazzi and the general public didn’t get too close to them. Today, Paris, Prince and Blanket “Bigi” Jackson have social media accounts and often post pictures and other information about their lives. All of the kids are teenagers now, and Prince had recently graduated high school.
In early April, Prince and Paris Jackson celebrated their late teens by getting tattoos. Prince’s represented Anubis, the Greek God of funerals and death. Part of Paris’ art honored her father, and another on her inner-forearm remembered her grandmother, Katherine Jackson. She wrote on Instagram, “Kǎisèlín” for Grandma Katherine, done by the ink goddess herself @thetattooprincess. Love you, G-Ma.”
As noted by E! News during Memorial Day weekend, she posted an Instagram photo of herself along with her prom date wearing a turquoise gown, while she wore a suit with a turquoise tie.
That didn’t stop Paris from doing more, as she dyed some of her hair turquoise to match the entire ensemble. This followed with the caption, “Only true friends dye their hair to match their gal’s prom gown.” Her date later posted a picture that read “A fun night with a fun lady and the best date anyone could ask for.”
While Michael Jackson’s children have inherited quite a fortune and live a lavish lifestyle, they also seem to enjoy some of the simple pleasures any teenager should, including the big night many high-schoolers dream of.
