The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) SSLC results will be announced on May 12, 2015 at 3 pm.
These results are highly important for the students of Karnataka as the score in tenth classes decides whether they will pursue Arts, commerce, or Science for the Higher Secondary (12th) class.
The year 2014 saw around 8.26 lacs students appearing for the SSLC, 10th class examination and around 41,000 candidates were found to be repeating the examination. The record shows that approximately 7.26 lacs students gave the examination for the first time, which also included approximately 21,670 private students.
The good news is that the failed candidate’s ratio has been diminishing as compared to the passed candidates from past few years. It is indeed a positive development.
How To Check the Result Online?
The sslc results can be checked on the official Karnataka Board website kseeb.kar.nic.in and karresults.nic.in.
The results also at http://results.karnatakaeducation.net/SSLC-Results.htm.
The SSLC result score can be checked online by entering the roll number or the hall-ticket number of the student. The website may expect you to fill up other relevant details on the slot to show the result.
It is also possible to obtain the result by sending KAR10 REGISTRATION NUMBER to 56263.
You can also obtain the result from other websites through pre-registration. These websites include Career India, Examtec and Karnataka Education.
According to Mohammed Mohsin, the commissioner of the public instruction department, the score lists of the result will be available in full detail in the school the next day from the result.
He said that the number of students appearing for the SSLC examination this year was marginally higher as compared to last year.
These results are extremely important for the 10th class students, as their entire career choice will be decided by this result.
To get admission in the science or commerce stream, a student has to score higher percentage.
In 2015, at least 8.56 lakh students in Karnataka took the class 10 board exam, which was conducted between March and April.
The number of students in 2015 SSLC exam this year was marginally higher than the last year, when approximately 8.13 lakh students appeared for the class 10 SSLC board examinations. Karnataka had recorded a pass percentage of 81.19% in the 2014 SSLC exams, in which girl students outshone boys.
