Apple has finally launched the ordering process its iPad Air2 and iPad Mini3 in India, and the company will be selling the devices in partnership with popular e-commerce retailers Flipkart and Infibeam.
The pre-ordering is available for the 16GB, 64GB and 128GB versions of both iPad Air2 and iPad Mini3 and the delivery is expected to start from November 29, 2014.
Flipkart hasn’t announced a date for delivery yet, however Infibeam has announced that delivery will be available for cities – Ahmedabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Pune, Bangalore, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Faridabad, Secunderabad and Nagpur- for iPad Air 2, said a report on MF Monitor.
The all new the iPad Mini 3 has been priced for sleek price of Rs 28,900 for the 16 GB version. The 128GB version is available for Rs.42,900. Users will have to shell another Rs. 10,000 for the cellular version of the device. Buy on Flipkart.com here.
On the other hand, the new iPad Air 2 has been priced at Rs.35,900 for 16GB version with Wi-Fi connectivity, while the 64GB version has been priced at , Rs.42,900.
Just like the iPad Mini 3, users of iPad Air 2 will have to pay an extra cost of Rs.10,000 for the cellular versions.
Both the newly launched devices are loaded with the latest Touch ID biometric sensor from Apple and runs on the iOS 8.1 operating system.
While iPad Mini 3 will still have the A7 chips, the new iPad Air 2 will run on ew A8X processor.
As compared to the US market, the new devices are priced higher in India. The iPad Air 2 costs $499 in the US, while the iPad Mini 3 has been made available at $399.
