Microsoft has finally launched the Nokia X2 Dual SIM at price of Rs. 8,699 in India.
Nokia X2 was first revealed in the month of June, but despite immediate release in some countries, the phone didn’t reach the markets.
The all new Nokia X2 features Dual SIM and will be available in a host of different colors like Orange, Dark Grey, Glossy Black, Green, White and Yellow.
The outer layer is translucent, which has been probably sourced from the Asha Range.
Nokia X2 Dual SIM has been preloaded with the latest Nokia Store and can run all Android apps.
Microsoft has also given Nokia X Software Platform v2.1.0.11 earlier this week, which has the highlight of having support for Google-based services.
The Google-based services that will be available include Google Contacts sync and Gmail.
The new member of the Nokia X family sports a 4.3-inch ClearBlack LCD display with 480×800 pixels with a pixel density of 217ppi.
It runs on dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, clocking at 1.2GHz matched with 1GB of RAM.
As compared to other smartphones of the same range, this one is surely a good update for RAM and processor. The new model also comes with 5MP autofocus rear camera having LED flash with a front camera. Nokia X2 is powered by a 1800mAh battery that offers 10 hours of 2G talk time.
Although Nokia X2 features just 4GB of on board memory, it can be expanded using microSD card.
Apps like Bing Search app, Facebook Messenger, Yammer, Skype, Outlook.com, WeChat, Path, Facebook, and Xbox games have been preloaded for the smartphone.
