The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has announced the sale of forms of its mega housing scheme on August 22, 2014.
Potential flat buyers can buy forms from September 1, 2014. The much-awaited DDA housing scheme will have 25,034 flats, out of which maximum units will be one-bedroom flats and 1800 will be 2-bedrooms and 3-bedrooms units.
The last date for submission of forms will be October 9. The draw to pick up the names of allottees will be organised at the October end.
This is DDA’s 44th scheme under which flats will be ranged from Rs. 7 lakh to Rs. 1.2 crore.
The potential buyers will be required to deposit Rs. 1 lakh as registration fees; it will be returned if one doesn’t get an allotment.
For EWS category flats, the registration fees is Rs. 10,000. The flats will be delivered by March 2015, says DDA.
This DDA scheme is said to have a corpus fund of whopping Rs. 360 crore which will be employed to maintain the flats for next three decades.

It will be transferred to RWAs and executive engineers; civil as well as electrical maintenance will be taken care of.
Another primary feature of this scheme is its five-year lock-in period in which an allottee wouldn’t be allowed to sell his or her flat.
DDA officials informed that this plan includes 896 green-based technology flats. Moreover, the authority will be selling leftover flats from its previous schemes; there will be around 811 old flats.
