Movies directed by Prabhudeva are meant for sheer fun and entertainment, and there is no point in carrying logic to the cinema theaters.
His recent venture, “Action Jackson” too falls in the same genre of mindless movie making, but this time, the director has succeeded in making a perfect commercial entertainer which will satisfy the needs of all kinds of audience.
The movie which hit the screens on December 5, 2014 is receiving highly positive reviews, and it is showing all signs of entering the 100 Crore Club in sky rocketing speed.
“Action Jackson” can be described as a complete action film with some comedy elements laced in the top most layer. The film features Ajay Devgan, Sonakshi Sinha and Yami Gautham in the lead roles.
The movie is basically the remake of the Telugu blockbuster, “Dookudu” which starred Mahesh Babu in the lead role.
The original movie has umpteen numbers of high octane action sequences, and Prabhu Deva has succeeded to reprise these moments in the remake as well.
The movie showcases the story of a Super Cop who is better known as Action Jackson in his department. The film portrays his journey to find an underworld kingpin.
In the proceedings, he find his lady love, and a parallel love story runs in the backdrop.

Altogether, the film is nothing but a clichéd Telugu story, but Prabhu Deva has succeeded to add some flavors so that it will look fresher.
Ajay Devgan has done an impeccable job, and he has portrayed the title character with perfection. His mannerisms and physique were quite suitable for a Police Officer, and he did it with style.
Sonakshi Sinha and Yami were just ordinary in their respective roles. The music is just okay, and there is nothing special on the store.
The Box Office Collections of “Action Jackson” is still unclear and unpredictable, but in all probabilities, this will be the highest grossing movie of this weekend.
We will keep the Box Office Collections updated in this page, so stay tuned.
