Actress Margot Robbie says she has found a life-long friend and drinking buddy – and it’s none other than her Suicide Squad co-star Cara Delevingne.
The two gradually bonded during the making of the DC Comics film, which also led Robbie to realize her new friend is a “hardcore” drinker.
She told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “What made working on the film even more amazing was that I found my new drinking buddy in Cara. It’s no myth about the British being able to drink, Cara is hardcore.”
Although Robbie is admittedly struggling to keep up with Delevingne’s drinking adventures, the actress feels she has made a life-long and valuable friend.
“I struggle to keep up. But we have the most fun ever. She is definitely now one of my drinking buddies for life,” she shared.
Meanwhile, it’s been reported that Robbie exercised as much as three hours per day for her Suicide Squad role. Her trainer, Andie Hecker, explained the details about the daily workout routine she had to endure.
He revealed: “She was a total trooper. It was very satisfying to see her body change into exactly what she wanted it to look like in such a short time.
There’s a scene in ‘Suicide Squad‘ where she changes clothes in front of a bunch of dudes, so her abs needed to be impeccable. And in those tiny shorts [her character] Harley wears, her butt was constantly on display.”
Suicide Squad was released on August 5th to mixed reviews. However, this hasn’t stopped many from enjoying the flick as it earned an estimated $267 million during its opening weekend.
