America’s Got Talent’s Nick Cannon has been dating TLC’s Chilli for roughly two months. Now reports have surfaced claiming that he introduced the singer to his friends and family.
A source told the New York Post’s Page Six: “They’ve been seeing each other for about two months. She really likes him and they’re spending a lot of time together. She’s beaming all the time. She’s met his friends and family. Everyone approves.”
Another insider had previously revealed: “Nick and Chilli [have] been hanging out on the low. [They’ve] been friends for some time and just recently this summer they have been hanging out romantically. Chilli is a very mature woman that’s been around the music industry for some time and gets it. Nick has always had a crush on her growing up. He thinks she is beautiful.”
The singer and TV personality, however, still confesses that Mariah Carey is the love of his life, saying: “It’s one of those things, I’m a hopeless romantic too. Through this learning process, you never say never. To me one thing I know, that will always be the love of my life, always be my family and that’s never going to change. It’s extremely disappointing when you see that people just want to perpetuate negativity when there is no negativity even involved.”
The 35-year-old star has also admitted his doubts about marriage in the future.
“I feel like marriage isn’t for everyone. A friend of mine put it the funniest way. He said, ‘If you heard that there was a 50/50 chance of living or dying when you jump out of a plane, you probably wouldn’t go skydiving. There’s like a 50/50 chance of a marriage working.”
