Britney Spears obsessed with ‘Pokemon Go’

Britney Spears admitted that she and her sons are addicted to Pokemon Go and have even gone to the mall to catch the virtual creatures. The three now play together constantly as a result.

The 34-year-old singer explained while speaking on Australia’s Rove and Sam show: “We do that a lot. [My kids] are addicted to it, they’re constantly talking about it, and I’m introduced to these new Pokémon everyday.

They got me to go shopping all over the mall to look for Pokémons. I was like, ‘Well you know what, it’s summer we have nothing to do today, let’s go look for Pokémon!'”

Spears is one of several stars who have gotten addicted to Nintendo’s popular mobile game. Justin Bieber recently walked all over New York’s Central Park in search of Pokemon along with dozens of other people.

This led his manager, Scooter Braun, to post a video as Bieber walked casually among the crowd and they failed to notice him at all.

“This is amazing. @justinbieber and @alfredoflores in nyc looking for Pokémon and no one looks at who is next to them,” Braun jokingly wrote.

In addition, singer John Mayer recently spent roughly $100 for 14,500 PokeCoins. Tyga, meanwhile, was spotted paying more attention to the game than he did to girlfriend Kylie Jenner.

Artist Lily Allen had previously talked about her own addiction to the mobile game, as she often visited the Church of Scientology Celebrity Center to catch a wide range of Pokemon. She occasionally posts updates on Twitter regarding her game progress and describes it as “pure escapism.”
