National award winning actress Shweta Basu Prasad, who was detained in a prostitution racket few days back, is likely to reveal the names and identities of her clients.
A report in Zee News suggests that she is probably ready to reveal names of many clients, which includes high profile business tycoons from many metros.
Earlier in the week, the media was abuzz and took on the 23-year old actress quite harshly. In fact, many questions were raised by celebs like Upen Patel and Aditi Rao Hydari on why only she was named in the operation.
The actress did issue a statement saying that she was lured into the business for money, because of tough financial issues and a family to support.
Reports also suggested that her pimp and small time assistant director in Tollywood, Balu, was taking a sum of Rs. 1 lakh from her clients.
National award winning director Hansal Mehta has also come to her rescue and has said that he intends to offer her a role in his film.
Meanwhile, if Sweta, who won many awards for her role in “Makdee”, chooses to open her mouth, it remains to be seen who are named.
While Sweta wasn’t arrested but just sent to a rescue home, her pimp Balu has been arrested.
The actress’s name also came up once before when she was caught on camera in a sting operation that was done by a local Telugu channel.
