The second T20 between New Zealand vs Pakistan will be played on Friday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The match starts at 21.30 IST.
The two teams barely look altered and that sends out the hint that neither of them takes the ongoing T20 encounter lightly.
Pakistan could hold an edge over their opponents if they are able to overcome the Kiwis yet again in the final T20. A 2-0 win would only push the team to an area of higher confidence when facing New Zealand in the 50-over game later.
Sarfraz Ahmed was the key for Pakistan’s easy outing in the last game. A fair share of credit also has to be handed over to the bowling attack.
If at all there is an alteration in the line up, skipper Shahid Afridi would definitely be giving a chance to those youngsters who are yet to make a mark. It needs to be seen who will be replaced so as to pack in the reserves for the bigger season ahead.
The toss news and squads will be updated here soon.

Meanwhile, the New Zealand line-up has had a hit, except for the performances doled out by Martin Guptill, Corey Anderson and Luke Ronchi. Their scorecard would have looked miserable had these three not been geared in the earlier outings.
The bowling front also doesn’t look geared for special performances. It took seven bowlers for skipper Kane Williamson to cover the 20 overs and the team still couldn’t find a single moment of rejoice.
As with the squad, Dean Brownlie, Tom Latham, Kyle Mills, Ross Taylor and Daniel Vettori are the options that the team management would look to bring in as replacements.
But situations are not so different from what the opponents have been facing in times of lack of talent for replacement. However, Pakistan has the option of rotating players effectively.
