In the jam-packed official trailer, a capella singer kicks off the competition with an impressive drum roll play. Anna Kendrick and her team walks forward singing out a rendition of Carrie Underwood’s Before He Cheats.
Following their passionate performance, the announcement cheerfully welcomes The Green Bay Packers as the next surprising team. They amaze the audience by singing out Bootylicious, by Beyoncé and Destiny’s Child.
As members of the Wisconsin-based football team appear, Beca shouts off ‘What?’ The scene cuts of football players David Bakhtiari, Don Barclay, Josh Sitton, Clay Matthews and T.J. Lang clad in black suits as they utter the musical melody.
For those not caught up with Fat Amy and Beca, the highly anticipated Pitch Perfect 2 brings the Bellas to the cappella world championship, where they face-off against vivid singers from overseas. The Bellas are sort of famous.
Rebel Wilson jokes in the trailer that there will be some haters out there, who will be looking at Team USA and be like, “Why is the most talented one Australian?”
