With World Cup 2015 just months away, two unquestionable powers in International Cricket, Pakistan and New Zealand is all set to clash in a ODI series which will be conducted in Dubai.
The first ODI in the 5 match series is scheduled on December 8, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. Pakistan time and the venue is International Cricket Stadium, Dubai.
New Zealand has played three tests and two T 20 Internationals in their Pakistan tour (neutral venue) this year. Both the Test Series and the T 20 series ended up in a draw, and this has literally increased the expectations of this ODI series to a great extend.
The One Day Series will witness the clash between two equally strong sides. The Pakistan team under the leadership of Misbah Ul Haq is capable to create magic in the cricketing sector, and they are continuing their dream run after the Test series victory in the Australian soil.

On the other hand, Kane Williamson’s boys are equally strong, and they have that extra fighting spirit which is quite essential for winning matches in One Day Internationals.
The batting line up of New Zealand is pretty strong, and the expectations mainly lies in the shoulders of Ross Taylor and Martin Guptill.
Some sources claim that Martin Guptill is suffering from an injury, and if he is absent for today’s match, then Dean Brownlie will make its way to the playing XI.
