Mission Impossible fans are in for a treat this summer as the release date for the upcoming movie in the series has been moved up. Mission Impossible 5 was earlier set to release on Christmas this year. However, the production has now decided that the movie will be released this summer itself, instead of the earlier planned release date in winter. The movie will hit the theaters five months in advance, on July 31.
Paramount and Skydance Productions have announced. Confirming the news to E! News that the next movie in the series will be released earlier than scheduled. The production crew did not cite any special reasons for the abrupt alternations in the plans. However, speculations from previous data highlight that the summer season proves more welcoming for action packed movies than the winters. Sales records for action movies are always higher in summer than in winter.
Another news linked to the early release of the Mission Impossible series film is the release date of the animated film “Monster Trucks.” Coming from the same production house, the animation film will hit the theaters later than it was scheduled to be. Earlier planned to be released in May, the movie will now be out only in December.
As always, Tom Cruise will be seeing performing new set of action sequences in the film, which is anticipated to be more thrilling and full of suspense this time. The movie will also showcase the star performing his most dangerous and impressive stunts to date. According to reports, Cruise flew 5,000 feet above the U.K. countryside, all the while being suspended from an Airbus A400 M aircraft.
During the shooting of the film, Cruise almost got hit by a double decker bus, but he managed to escape a major mishap. Nevertheless, the actor still insists on performing his stunts himself.
