Jamie Dornan, the co-star in the film Fifty Shades of Grey, sought to put to rest the rumors that have been flying around about his wife’s opposition to him taking another role in Fifty Shades sequels. In setting the records straight, Dornan did it emphatically. Also, Dornan talked about rumors that the chemistry between him and co-star Dakota Johnson isn’t good.
Supportive wife
There have been widespread rumors that Dornan’s wife, Amelia Warner, was not happy with her husband’s participation in the famous Fifty Shades film. Speculations have also been rife that Warner was lobbying against Dornan’s participation in a sequel of the movie. To dispel those rumors, Dornan said “total b*****s” and went on to state that the wife would have read the scripts in advance, citing that Warner was actually supportive of Fifty Shades. The “be” word he is the British word for testicles.
Bad chemistry
As for the issue of chemistry between him and fellow Fifty Shades star being bad, Dornan denied anything like that being there between him and Johnson.
He said that it would have been impossible for them to shot Fifty Shades together if there was anything like a chemistry problem. However, with the words “whatever chemistry means”, Dornan left a lot to be desired about his chemistry with Johnson. The words “whatever chemistry means” quickly reminds one of the line, “whatever love means” by Price Charles when talking about Diana.
So it may seem that denial of bad chemistry doesn’t actually mean Dornan has endorsed love for Johnson.
Pay hike
Dornan seems to be in for more Fifty Shades participation. He is already on board for a second film and also a third one. The star is also seeking a pay raise for his role in Fifty Shades of Grey. As concerns the raise, he said that the idea was that the trilogy is honored and “do all three”, he said.
