After waiting for more than 20 days, finally the fate of the applicants of the DDA Housing Scheme 2014 will be decided today i.e. November 25, 2014.
Starting off from 11.30 am, the Delhi Development Authority will announce the names of the winners. There are 10,08,700 applicants, who will witness and wait as the results unfold.
The entire process is expected to take one and half hours and by 1.00 pm, the owners of the 25,034 flats will be decided.
This will also be the first time when DDA will be webcasting the entire draw live on YouTube. Applicants can also check the official website of DDA here for the entire draw process.
A Times of India report said that sources have been quoted, who said the 20 day delay in the draw date was due to a software glitch.
Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is known to have called in many external software engineers for rewriting and working on the code of the program.

The 10 lakh applicants have been waiting for the longest time for MIG, HIG, EWS, LIG, Janta flats and one-room apartments. There are one bedroom apartments, which will be a major draw for the applicants this year.
Despite the attraction, reports suggest the DDA housing scheme 2014 had lukewarm response. Some claimed that the five-year lock-in period might have scared a few applicants. Brochures have been however sold in good numbers, reports suggested.
