It is undoubtedly a ‘Black Day’ for the Cricket World as Philip Hughes, the young Australian batsman died at a Hospital in Sydney. Philip was injured in his head two days earlier during a domestic match.
Cricket Australia confirmed the news of Philips’ death, and they conveyed condolences to the family members of the deceased.
The 25 year old batsman was admitted to the Sydney Hospital after being struck by a deadly bouncer delivered by Sean Abbot. Philip fainted in the spot, and was rushed to the hospital in a Helicopter. The batsman has worn a helmet during the incident, but it was not capable enough to withstand the impact.
The whole cricketing fraternity is mourning the death of the young player who said Adios in the wrong time. Sachin Tendulkar, the living legend in International Cricket tweeted that this is the saddest moment for International Cricket. He also conveyed his condolences to the family members of Phil.

Legendary all rounder, Ian Botham tweeted his worries about Phil’s family. He asked everyone to spare a thought for Sean Abbot.
“Saddest day in cricket fraternity. Rest in peace mate and Sean Abbott stay strong”, tweeted Rohit Sharma, the new age batting sensation in India.
