Every real and genuine life story ends in either of the two ways- one is happy ending and another is sad ending. Most of the Bollywood Masala movies are created on these two facts.
But most of the movies follow the happy ending pattern to keep the audience happy when they exit from the hall. The newly released movie “Happy Ending” by Saif Ali Khan is one such movie that ends happily.
This movie is basically a very sweet comedy and love story. Govinda’s come back in this movie is no doubt good and he is really the comedy King of Bollywood. An entertaining performance, supported with appeal quotient and smooth dance steps, Govinda is undoubtedly the whole package and needs praise.
Kalki Koechlin is as usual a brilliant performer in this movie that requires hats off.
The cameo role of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priety Zinta is really awesome and really impressive. But Saif Ali Khan and Illeana D’Cruz make a boring pair in this movie.
They look prominent in their individual roles, but are unable to cook up any real passion and do justice to their love role in the movie.
NDTV Movies wrote, “Happy Ending enmeshes the wildly absurd with the mildly funny to deliver two-and-a-quarter hours of harmless entertainment that does not overly try the audience’s patience despite the many holes that it is riddled with.
“It mocks the filmic concept of the “till death do us part” kind of love. The commitment-phobic male protagonist at the heart of the film’s plot falls in and out of love as if it were a swimming pool.
“The film also takes humorous jabs at how commercial films are conceptualized and written in the Mumbai industry.”
Ranveer Shorey luckily lands some genuinely amusing lines, and brings them with super style. Sadly, he has got a very limited time on screen.
The movie reportedly has opened to poor openings of 20-25 percent, but is expected to pickup during afternoo and night shows.
Also the good word of mouth can help the movie surge its occupancy during the weekend. The 1st and 2nd days collections stats will be updated here shortly. Stay tuned…

The movie overall is not that bad at all. Though this movie is a bit unrealistic, but good for doing time-pass.
You can have fresh popcorn and coke in your hands and pass a good time with your partner in the movie hall watching this movie.
