The wait for the new members of Google’s Nexus family is finally over as the tech giant has finally unveiled the Google Nexus 6 phone and 8.9-inch Nexus 9 phone at an event on Wednesday, October 15, 2014.
There is enough buzz around the release of Google Nexus 6 in India, but not much is known on the pricing.
A report on NDTV says that the new Google Nexus 6 will be priced at approximately Rs. 40,000, for the 32GB variant, according to the manufacturing company Motorola.
Unlike many flagship smartphones that are sold at a discount, the new Nexus 6 will not have the same. The 32GB variant has been priced at $649, which is Rs. 40,000 in India approximately.
The 64GB Google Nexus 6 comes for a price of $699, which is approximately Rs. 43,000 in India.
This will also be the first Nexus device that will be sold with both unlocked and locked versions with carriers like Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, and US Cellular in US.
Both Google and Motorola have mentioned that Nexus 6 will come for pre-ordering from October end and will have the first batch shipped in November. T-Mobile has mentioned a date of November 12, so the phone is likely to arrive in that time frame.
