Singer and songwriter Demi Lovato temporarily left her Twitter and Instagram accounts following some blunt comments toward Mariah Carey.

The 46-year-old diva had, at one point, minimized Lopez’ prominence by claiming she didn’t know her. This led Lovato to call Carey’s behavior inappropriate and nasty.

Carey’s fans quickly fired back, prompting the 23-year-old to tentatively quit most social media networks.

“Damn I gotta quit sayin s**t. Bye Twitter. And insta. I like snapchat cause I don’t have to see what some of y’all say. Follow me if you want: theddlovato,” she stated via Twitter.

She added, “But why do people actually give a f**k what I say?? like if you don’t care the gtfo haha (sic).”

Lovato reminded her followers, all 36.6 million of them, about the positive things she has done. In an effort to dismiss users with harsh comments, she wrote, “That one time I started my own charity providing mental health care for people who can’t afford it and this is what y’all talk about and people wonder what’s wrong with the world. Pay more attention to good than bad. (sic).”

Merely one day after leaving, however, the singer is back and allegedly more honest than ever.

She soon explained the reason for her return, adding: “Love my Lovatics so f—king much,” and “I love my Lovatics too much to leave them over some lame ass haters.. What was I thinking?!”

In typical and unapologetic fashion, Lovato continues to express herself freely and promote various products as she sees fit.

One post shows the artist spraying body mist from her line of beauty products, Devonne by Demi. The post included, “One day, my mom came home from the spa and I saw how her skin was glowing and how visibly relaxed she was… That image stuck with me and inspired me to develop@devonnebydemi I hope you all have been enjoying my products as much I do! And if you haven’t tried it yet, now’s the time! Link in bio. (sic).”

56-year-old talent mogul Simon Cowell has called for help on Twitter to support the Humane Society International’s campaign to ban a questionable festival held in China.

The event features a “dog cuisine” in which officials feed up to 15,000 dogs to those who attend the festival. On Twitter, he wrote, “Yulin dog meat festival is sickeningly cruel so join me and support @HSIGlobal to #StopYulin.”

He also asked people for donations and join to fight against animal cruelty on the organization’s website.

“It’s so brutal, it makes me sick thinking about it. The cruelty, pain and terror these animals experience is disgusting and there are no words to describe how upset this makes me feel. The images and footage of the gruesome reality for these helpless animals – many of them still wearing their pet collars – are outrageous and inexcusable. We have to do something. Please donate to help HSI fight the dog meat trade and care for these rescued animals. These animals can’t help themselves – it’s up to us to do something, now.”

Cowell owns two Yorkshire terriers named Squiddly and Diddly. He often says they are like his children. Along with Cowell, Ricky Gervais asked his followers on social media to join the fight.

“Please help stop the #YulinDogMeatFestival … Will smug idiots stop asking why it’s worse to eat dogs than cows. In principle it isn’t. But in this case they torture the dogs first … They believe torturing the dog makes the meat tastier…”

Contrary to popular belief, 35-year-old Jessica Alba does rely on natural cosmetics to look free of make-up and hide some lines and wrinkles. Through her eco-friendly cosmetic line, which she co-founded in 2012, the actress provides everything she needs to compliment her appearance.

The Barely Lethal actress also makes an effort for a night out with her husband or friends to feel and look as great as she did before kids. She explained, “When you’re going out with your husband or girl’s night, bring the pumps out. It’s important for mom’s to know they can still bring it. They can put their red lipstick on. It’s important for you to feel like yourself again pre-baby.”

31-year-old Keira Knightley has a new Chanel campaign to promote after starring in commercials for Coco Mademoiselle fragrance and Rogue Coco collection. She is effectively the face of Coco Rush jewelry for the fall-winter 2016 advertising campaign.

Knightley recently posed for a photoshoot that includes the jewelry collection and worked with Mario Testino, a well-known fashion photographer.

The mother of 13-month-old Edie and wife of James Righton also donated some of her evening gowns and dresses to Wardrobes for Women, a charity that helps women in war-torn countries start a new life.

During a previous interview about the charity, the actress said, “It’s a pity when beloved clothes sit dormant in my closet, so I am thrilled to be a part of Wardrobes for Women to give these clothes a new life.” Showing a blue, silk Prada dress, she explained, “I love the simple elegance of this silk Prada dress, I wore it to a friend’s birthday and it made me feel like a dream, I hope whoever ends up with this item will love it as much as I have.”

Other celebrities are also going through their closets to donate to the charity. Emma Watson, the 25-year-old actress known for her role as Hermoine Granger in the Harry Potter series, recently showed some of her donations and explained, “These So Kate Louboutin heels were my go-to for many special occasions. I hope the new owner makes them a signature staple in their wardrobe and feels great every time they wear them.”

After coming to the realization that partying is taking a toll on his health, Zayn Malik is trying to change his eating habits and lifestyle in an attempt to take better care of himself.

The 23-year-old former One Direction member has reportedly been overwhelmed since starting his solo career. He had even taken his name off of the list of singers scheduled to perform at the Capital FM Summertime Ball due to anxiety.

Malik recently said, “I’ve not been feeling too well recently because I’ve been partying too much and not looking after myself and eating enough food. I’m just trying to take care of myself,” he said in an interview with Paper magazine.

“There’ve been a few moments where I’ve been really taken aback… I feel like everybody looks for some sort of approval from some form in their life, and my fans are my approval. It’s a sense of achievement that you can’t really explain.”

Meanwhile, the artist is also happy about changing his appearance after his time with One Direction, although his beard makes him look older.

“Facial hair was a weird thing. I think it’s ’cause I just looked old. And they didn’t like that. [And] I always wanted a beard! I think every dude does when they’re young. Seeing Al Pacino in ‘Carlito’s Way‘ — I needed the goatee after that. I was like, ‘I wanna be Al Pacino.’ I’ve always been obsessed with that, and I had to shave it off. Rick Astley, known well by the 40-something crowd thanks to the 1987 hit Never Gonna Give You Up, is back at the top of the charts at age 50. Back in the 1980s, he was known as “the little man with the big voice,” a voice that continues to belt out hits.

After 29 years, the singer topped UK charts with his album suitably titled 50. Astley celebrated with his co-workers at Magic Radio, saying, “What an amazing day and an amazing feeling. The album 50 is all about celebrating my age and I’m not going to lie I’ve had a glass of champagne already and I’ll probably have a few more. It was 29 years ago since I’ve had a number one album. It was a homemade project. I took to my home studio to make the record. I wanted to mark my 50th year and this was a labour of love. Social media is an incredible thing and fans can tell you what they want and what they don’t want. If it wasn’t for them asking for new music I never would have had the confidence to do it without them.”

Astley pushed Tom Odell out of the number one spot, beating the artist by only 3,700 copies sold. Of course, Rick sold more hard copies of his current CD while Tom sold more digital copies and streams, according to The Official Chart Company.

Astley jokingly said, “I like Tom Odell. I bought his last album, and I’m going to buy this one as well, but I’ve held off from buying it this week!”

Selena Gomez had fun with James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke on Monday, a segment where he drives around with prominent Hollywood celebrities.

Corden showed interest in joining the singer’s squad, which includes close friends such as Taylor Swift. In turn, the 23-year-old asked Corden for a romantic favor.

The TV show host asked if boys were allowed in her infamous squad, to which she responded, “I don’t know. Find me a boyfriend and then we’ll talk about it!” When Corden asked if she was serious about the request, Gomez revealed she just wanted to have fun.

Along with her singing career, Gomez is well-known for her on-again, off-again relationship with Justin Bieber.

Talking about her squad, Corden then added, “I actually think the squad is a bit sexist. Because it’s all about being equals, and yet no man has been asked to join the squad. I actually find it degrading to men.”

She quickly replied, “Well, I think the industry could use a little bit of female sexism. I think we have a right to be that way. It’s a lot harder doing what I have to do.”

The young singer reportedly does not like to be quizzed about relationships, especially her time with Justin Bieber from 2011 to 2014. In a recent interview with Marie Claire, Gomez stated how much she hated talking about her personal life when she was trying to promote something she loves.

The 46-year-old singer, actress and mother of twins had to learn to embrace her body, and is now inspiring and encouraging others to do the same.

“It’s hard to avoid comparing yourself to others, and I’ve definitely been guilty of it myself. I remember thinking I wasn’t thin enough because I had curves. But I’ve learned that being healthy and feeling great aren’t about having one specific body type; it’s a completely individual thing. Lewis Hamilton is the defending Formula One champion, winning in 2008, 2014 and 2015. In turn, his accomplishments have made many ladies take notice of the fast driver.

The 31-year-old racer is reportedly romancing model Barbara Palvin, whom has dated some of the biggest names in music including Justin Bieber and Niall Horan of One Direction. Hamilton and Palvin apparently hit it off after meeting in Cannes, France.

The Sun newspaper was informed by a source that “she and Lewis were only in Cannes for a short time but got on like a house on fire. They hung out every day and partied at night. By the end of the trip they were really close. They’ve been keeping in touch, with plans to meet up again soon.”

Hamilton recently said that he does not have time for a relationship, but things must have changed in his schedule. “I don’t have time. I’m the most busy I’ve ever been. I’m trying to win the championship and travelling like never before … I think dating and the relationship thing is down the line for me.”

The Formula One star is also an avid music enthusiast, composing his own tunes which are reportedly inspired by life itself.

“I’ve been inspired by life – the easy stuff like relationships, that’s always easy to talk about, and partying. It’s not really break-ups or none of that emotional stuff, it’s usually fun stuff. Less than a month after the boxing legend passed away at the age of 74, footage filmed during Muhammad Ali’s funeral has been offered to media outlets for $1 million. The footage was allegedly taken by a family member.

A source who was offered a chance to buy the tape told The Mirror, “It is disgusting that someone claiming to be part of Ali’s own family could deceive their own flesh and blood. There is so much affection for him and it is not something we would entertain no matter what the price. The seller initially tried to conceal their identity but when asked how the footage was obtained we were told how they were a member of the family. It shows Ali being lowered into the ground and his family in tears. It’s disgusting. Clearly they have no respect.”

The footage was filmed secretly during a private service while the boxing legend is lowered into the ground.

The father of nine children died of septic shock after suffering from Parkinson’s disease. His funeral was attended by family and close friends, including Will Smith and President Bill Clinton.

Smith said after the funeral, “We all sat around, you know – Tyson, Lewis, and a lot of Ali’s family and me – for about an hour. We all just told the stories and our memories. You know, for me, it’s just humbling to be able to be here with the family in this time of need. He lived the perfect example of how a human being is supposed to live their life. It was beautiful.”
