So many of you out there might have been dismayed when Motorola wrapped up further sales of Moto G last month. But that seemed the right move, as Motorola has now officially announced the successor to the Moto G as well as the Moto X in the Indian market today.
It was widely speculated the Moto G2 and Moto X+1 could shake up the exclusive retailer Flipkart with the latter teasing the new smartphones’ launch.
And today, the rumors came to be true as Motorola has officially announced the new Moto G.
Just as it were for the predecessors, the new Moto G, dubbed Moto G2 or the Moto G+1, would be up for grabs by the midnight of September 5th through exclusive online retailer Flipkart.
Though various price speculations have been built around prior to the announcement, Motorola has confirmed the new Moto G to be priced at Rs 12,999.
Though it would be a wait till midnight for further specs to come out, Motorola has teased the same and has revealed some of the upgrades, which include an 8MP rear cam, 2 MP front cam and the Pure Voice feature for the voice recognition.
Though still under wraps, it is expected to pack the faster processing with the display facet assumed to be left untouched. Motorola has also assured a near future update of Android L to be rolled out to the Moto G.
Also getting in line with the Moto G is the Moto X2 that comes with a 5.2 inch Full HD display screen.
