Is Miley Cyrus avoiding Patrick Schwarzenegger?

Las Vegas – Tensions seems to be appearing between Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger as the former seems to be ignoring the latter’s calls. The couple became the topic of discussion after photos of Schwarzenegger comforting to a gal-pal in Cuba during a spring break became locked in the internet.

The Wrecking Ball singer is coming to Las Vegas for an appearance in Caesar’s Palace after giving a surprise appearance in the SXSW 2015. However, nothing can be said about their relationship conclusively.

However, the USC student has denied any speculation of cheating. He had earlier posted in Twitter for his followers that he would do nothing to hurt Miley. There are different schools of thought behind their current relationship status. While one source from E! News tells that Patrick is embarrassed and frustrated about their current status, other says they have been in touch since his return from Mexico. Clearly, there has been lots of drama on the incident.

One of the sources told E! News earlier, that Patrick had been trying to be very good and was trying hard to make their relationship work. He’s a really good boyfriend and had been great to Miley. However, one thing is clear, Miley hasn’t been answering his calls since his return. Apparently now, Patrick is upset and has been trying everything to resolve things and bring back a sense of normalness into their relationship.

Another source tells that Patrick has been left humiliated after the incident. He is confused on “what to do with himself” and wants to “hide from the world”. He knows that he “screwed up” a lot.

Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus fans would be delighted to have seen a wonderful performance from her at the SXSW on Thursday, during the Mike WiLL Made-It & Friends concert. She sang her hit “23” and her party song “We Cant Stop”. In other ways of entertaining her fans, she even uploaded her pics of “flashing her booty” in Instagram.

Luis Suarez’s score gives Barcelona a lead against Real Madrid

Spain – Barcelona’s lead was increased by a score made by Luis Suarez who killed the ball on a die to give Barcelona a trademark finish victory of 2-1over Real Madrid. The victory came after Suarez cushioned the ball under pressure before firing it out under Casillas from close range. At this point and on the 73 minutes, Messi could not get the scoresheet right.

This has pushed Barcelona at a four point lead ahead of Real Madrid after this winning goal which came through the 56^th minute and which was scored in a very fantastic manner.

Barcelona had encountered their lead during the first half with Jeremy Mathieuafter he headed home Lionel Messi’s pin point as a result of a free kick. However, Cristiano Ronaldo would equalize it after netting his 42nd goal of the season which would draw the Madrid club level.

The thrilling match was watched by over 400Million supporter of either team around the world with more than 98,000 being inside the stadium. Within the first 20minutes of the game, Real Madrid almost hit the front after they made their first goal. However, Barcelona countered their moves largely to take the lead.

Barcelona’s game improvement under Luis Enrique was seen when Messi dropped another sumptuous free kick into the box. This made the French defender bundle the ball past Ilker Casillas.

Never the less, despite Ronald being the player of the year and regardless of his goal and despite of playing extremely well by Messi, one would easily tell the outcome of the La Liga title.

There are 10 more games left within the season. Barcelona has so far reclaimed its crown having gained a win of 18 from the 19games in an unbeatable run and after encountering a defeat in the first El Clasico of the season in the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid will defend the Champions League title against city rival Atletico during the quarterfinals as they try to close the gap.

Wild fist fight by Rick leads no any deaths in The Walking Dead today’s episode

Things were still in an extreme tense mode in Alexandria even though no horrific or brutal deaths (of living people) were experience in tonight’s episode of The Walking Dead.

The loss of lost Noah and Aiden in the previous episode last week had everyone mourning with. Besides, Deanna was still looking very disturbed with how to deal with Father Gabriel’s warning about the exact nature of Rick’s group as Rick and Carol tried to get idea on how to deal with Pete.

However, it turns out that Deanna is pretty aware of the fact that Pete who is a talented surgeon and has saved many lives is hitting on Jessica. On the hand, Rick wants him separated permanently from Jessica even if it means killing him. This is regardless of the fact that Jessica is not ready for his loss especially by the community.

Deanna is not for the idea but Rick is still determined to shoot Pete in the face. He gets himself into a fist fight and they ended up throwing each other through the window which saw them land at a ground in the middle of Alexandria.

Covered in a pool of blood, Deanna will the follow them and ask them to get up. Immediately, Rick pulled out a gun and began waving it like a lunatic amidst shouting about how people in Alexandria have no idea on how real world works. He says that they will die as a result of not knowing what they are doing.

Elsewhere in the episode Sasha is outside Alexandria hunting Zombies with the strange “W” mark and which has been seen in many other previous episodes. Carl and Enid are on the walls as Carl attempts to discover his similarities with Enid since the two of them had taunted walkers in the forest.

The season finale is sloted for next week with the biggest question revolving around Rick’s fate who is likely to have had his way out of Alexandria.

Increased fear of “Super bugs” due to increased use of Antibiotics in Animals

Rome – Global demand for meat has not reduced even after a new study revealed increased alarming rates at which antibiotics are being used to boost livestock especially in the developing countries. The move is expected to intensely increase the risky creation of drug resistant “super bugs”.

Consumption of eggs, milk and meat is on the rise in most of these developed and middle income countries. According to a scientist with the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), Tim Robinson, there is increased urbanization which has led to higher income, spending power resulting tochanges of diets because of increased wealth. As a result, livestock producers and keepers have to get a better way of maintaining this lifestyle hence the increased use of antibiotics.

However, Robinson has warned over the risk that may be generated from E. coli and salmonella bacteria which are said to have become resistant to the antibiotics. “Doctors are having such a hard time in treating the infections that have been caused by these drugs – resistant bacteria”. He emphasized.

A 65% increase in the use of antibiotics in animals in expected between 2010 and 2030. It will be higher by whole 200% in countries like Brazil, Russia, India and China. As a result, the study indicates that it will be very hard for common infections to respond to drugs hence even the slightest infection would lead to death of persons.

Apparently Asia is said to the hub where demand for livestock products is dramatically on the rise. This has left many experts wondering and as result they have concluded that most likely there are no regulations governing the use of antibiotics in animals or the regulations are not publically known.

There is an estimation that 805Million people sleep on empty stomachs every night. However, Robinson said that this is enough justification of having antibiotic fueled breeding of livestock so as to increase food production. After all,the poor people are the worst affected since they cannot afford drugs to fight the infections.

Researchers discover 10000 years old clouds of Interstellar Cosmic dust

Washington – The formation of both stars and planets has greatly being contributed by the role of various elements contained in the cosmic dust, the likes of oxygen, carbon, and iron. This is unlike what was found in the early galaxies that were said to contain gas only since the dust came years later and whose existence has been subjected to various scientific researchers.

Scientists have since found evidence through tracking of cosmic dust that it could be the violent star explosions commonly known as supernovas.

By the use of infrared images gathered by the Faint object Infrared Camera Telescope,a remnant of a supernova was located near the Milky Way and which was said to be having some good amount of cosmic dust.

As such and according to Ryan Lau who is the lead author of the study, getting to know where this dust that forms the stars and the planets is of essence. This is with the simple mentality that dust is such a fragile material and the questions that still remain an answered include, how does it survive in this very extremely hot environment?

“Our main duty is to give reinforcement to the theory that supernova produces the dust seen in the galaxies of the earlier years”, Lau explained.

The 10,000-year-old cloud of interstellar dust was found to have retained so much dust that had been created by the Supernova. According to Researchers the dust must have been within the range of 7 to 20 percent.

From Lau’s statement, a particular cloud which was produced10,000years ago by a supernova explosion has enough dust that can make up to 7,000 Earths.

“As it is now, no space-based telescope can observe at far-infrared wavelengths”. This was said by a spokesman from the University of Cornell. However, Lau has accredited the findings to the NASA Stratospheric Observatory and SOFIA for the Infrared Astronomy whose analysis were made on an altered Boeing 747SP jumbo jettraveling at 600 mph (965 km/h) at an altitude of 45,000 feet

Barcelona takes the lead against Real Madrid with a 2 – 1win

Spain – Luis Suarez of Barcelona is the person behind the goal that would give the team a win in the 56th minute against Real Madrid. Barcelona which is well known for its aggressive play made a score of 2 – 1 to Real Madrid whose players earned 6 yellow cards off of 14 fouls.

It is in the 19^th Minute that the La Liga leaders were given a 1 – 0 score on a header off of a free kick courtesy of Barcelona’s defender Jeremy Mathieu.

Real Madrid had attempted to claim an early lead when they scored their first goal at the end of the 1st half which came from Cristiano Ronaldoin the 12th minute. However, there are chances that they would have maintained the lead were it not for the fact that another one from Ronaldo was deemed offside hence it was disallowed.

This gave Barcelona a chance to fight back in the second half with Luis Suarez scoring the winning goal which made Barcelona end up with 17 shots.

However, at the 78^th Minute there was a higher opportunity for a tie but this curtailed by Barcelona goalie Claudio Bravo, who saved the brilliant kick from striker Karim Benzema of Real Madrid.

Real Madrid who had pelted the net with 13shots only ended up with 4 that were on target towards the Barcelona goalie Bravo. On April 5^, Barcelona who have 10games remaining will play Celta Vigo while Real Madrid which is four points behind Barcelona now will play Granada.

There were unsightly incidents and unseemly reactions before and after Barcelona’s goal as players from both teams tried to lure the referee into using his cards. This led to booking of Pepe and Luis Suarez for chippy fouls besides Ronaldo for diving on the edge of the box.

Never the less, amidst incidences which interrupted the flow of things, Real which seemed to be in control of matters would somehow get in terms and finally Barcelona took the win.

WHO and IARC present widely-used Herbicide as Carcinogenic

A report published by the World Health Organization has classified Glyphosate as substance, which is “probably carcinogenic to humans”. Glyphosate is the most widely used herbicide in the world. It has now been identified as a substance, which damages the human DNA and cause cancer.

After consulting 17 cancer experts from 11 countries across the globe, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) had announced their assessment. Workers exposed to such pesticides and herbicides were studied by the U.S, Canada and Sweden. They found that herbicides such as glyphosate do indeed increase the risks of non Hodgkin lymphoma. However, there are strong evidences to suggest that the chemical induces cancer to lab animals.

Another study conducted in Sri Lanka conducted by the Rajarata University was also published in International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health. The study found a link between glyphosate and chronic kidney disease among farm-workers. The study also found that excessive heat and dehydration may be the cause weakening of the worker’s body. This makes them more susceptible to cancer and kidney disorders.

However, Monsanto had objected to this publication. Philip Miller, the Vice President of the agrochemical giant wanted a plausible explanation on how the WHO deviated from the conclusions made by all regulatory agencies working around the globe. Moreover, the Environmental Protection Agency had approved Monsanto’s request to increase the legal tolerance level of glyphosate in 2013. The U.S government had also approved of the chemical to be used as a herbicide.

The report has also mentioned about Malathion, which was a chemical used to repel mosquitoes by the city of Winnipeg. The chemical is now being associated to prostate cancer and non-Hodgkin’s lymphomia as well.

The WHO and the IARC concluded the report by validating their reason to present the herbicide as a carcinogenic substance. The officials mentioned in the report that the evidences date back to exposure since 2001.

Scientists unravel the mystery of The Glowing Mushroom

Dartmouth – Scientists are very close to unravel the mystery of the Glowing Mushrooms. A paper published in the journal “Current Biology” contains the research work done by the scientists. This paper claims that attracting insects, ants and other flies are the main purposes behind the glowing. This is done in order to spread their spores in the surrounding forest. The fungus on focus was Neonothopanus gardneri, which is one of the 71 fungi species capable to emit light.

Different ideas were earlier proposed by the scientific community to explain this luminous behavior of mushrooms and the biological pathway of emitting them. It was also believed that this luminosity was generated as a result of a process that involved oxygen and energy. However, researchers have pointed out that Neonothopanus gardneri had its own circadian rhythm. Glowing was regulated by temperature and stopped during the daytime.

The validity of the research was supported by an experiment conducted by the researchers at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine. A number of fake glowing mushrooms were planted in the wild to check the outcomes. These fake mushrooms were made of resins glued to an LED light. The light emits the exact same intensity and color of light, which the Neonothopanus gardneri mushrooms emit (green color).

Interestingly, researchers found that the artificial mushrooms had attracted more number of flies than their non glowing control traps. Insects such as rover beetles, flies, wasps, ants, true bugs and more staphilinid were attracted by the glowing mushrooms. However, it is also possible that these beetles were attracted by some factor other than light, such as smell.

Neonothopanus gardneri is particularly found in Brazil. Such fungi were once closely considered to be related to the plant family. However, further research indicates that they are much closer to the animal family. The study concluded that fungi with inherent ability to glow had selective advantage over the ones that didn’t.

Tourists in France stands as a witness to the ‘Super Tide’

Mount Saint Michel, France- Thousands have gathered in France to stand as a witness to the ‘Tide of the Century’. The high tide will be caused due to a combination of factors such as the super moon Saturday and this week’s solar eclipse. Mount Saint Michel will be cut off from the mainlands. This will be the first giant tide of this year. The last such giant tide happened on March 10^th 1997.

Though it’s dubbed to be the tide of the century, such giant tides are witnessed by Mount Saint Michel every 18 years. The next high tide will not be due until 2033. A record breaking crowd, whose number could easily cross 10,000 have gathered to witness the incident. These tourists were mostly Belgians, but tourists from Germany, Japan etc. as well had come to see the giant tides.

However, the effects of the tide are not solitary on France. The super tide should also be imparting effects in Tierra del Fuego, which is also cut off from the South American mainland, the Briston Channel of Britain and also the northern coast of Australia as well.

Earlier on Saturday night at the Mount Saint Michel, a tide which peaked more than 14 metres (record high) was witnessed. It scored 119 out of the maximum limit of 120. Reports of a death caused due to this super tide have also been received. A giant tide as high as four storey building swept up an estuary and gave birth to the news of two drowning incident. Also, about 15 people had to be rescued in the Brittany region after being trapped by the afternoon tides.

However, the super tides are not the largest tides witnessed on Earth. Such tides occur at the Bay of Fundy and the Ungava Bay in Canada, where the tides could reach a maximum height of 17 meter.

A glimpse of a rare Solar Eclipse in History

In Europe, millions of people were waiting for the moment, which marked a rare solar eclipse in history. The eclipse coincided, with two other major celestial events: the spring equinox and a supermoon, and lasted for almost two minutes and 45 seconds. During this period, the moon totally masked the sun, resulting in darkness for the land. The astronomical spectacle was viewed best from the Svalbard archipelago in the Norwegian Arctic. However, in the U.K. the cloudy weather made it tough for the people to witness the partial eclipse. Sadly, they won’t be able to view another partial social eclipse until 2026.

The time during which the earth was overshadowed with darkness lasted for few minutes, but the entire event right from the time when the moon begins to cover the sun to when it completely obscured it lasted for almost two hours.

Solar eclipses occur rare, but the illusion of a supermoon can be viewed many times a year. It is the time when the moon comes closest to the Earth and appears larger than usual. The third spectacle spring equinox can be witnessed every year. It indicates the beginning of beautiful spring time in the northern hemisphere.

In this event, the most special and unusual thing was concurrence of all three events at the same time.

A solar eclipse is witnessed when the moon completely obstructs the view from Earth of the sun’s disk. It occurs mostly after every 18 months on average, and recurs at any given location once every 360 to 410 years.

A supermoon is an illusion as due to moon’s oval orbit, a full moon different in size when seen from Earth. It occurs on the perigee side of the moon’s orbit. Due to the proximity to earth, it is unusually bright and big. Last year, the parts of the United States recorded occurrence of three supermoons.
