Chrissy Teigen wants her daughter to be optimistic

Chrissy Teigen, who married singer John Legend in 2013, wants their three-month-old daughter to grow up optimistic. However, she acknowledges this might not be the case if she grows up overwhelmed by their fame.

As a result, the 30-year-old model often worries about the kind of impact their status will have on the little tot.

A fan had recently asked Teigen via Twitter: “How do you think you and John being celebrities will effect Luna growing up?” to which she replied: “While I want her to be wide-eyed and optimistic, I think she will be very cautious of people.”

She also joked that the couple is already hard at work making Luna understand the height of their fame.

During a Q&A session, someone asked whether a celebrity’s children usually know they are famous, and Teigen responded with: “They don’t and they don’t know you’re famous no matter how many times you yell it at them.”

Teigen is said to be very hands-on with her daughter’s upbringing, and says that not every celebrity hands their children to the nanny.

A fan had asked: “Do some celebrities depend on nannies to take care of their kids?” this was followed with: “To help, is a better way to say it. And others, too. I dunno anyone that doesn’t wanna take care of their kids.”

She had also revealed the origins of her daughter’s name, which translates to “Moon” in Spanish.

“I love the moon, space & this insane infinite universe so much bigger than us that we’re not nearly amazed enough,” she stated
