Justin Bieber is a big ‘Pokemon Go’ fan

Justin Bieber revealed he is obsessed with Pokemon Go and has been playing it frequently in New York.

The 22-year-old music sensation often teams up with friends to play the mobile game, which encourages people to catch Pokemon in the real world by way of travel. Bieber has also noted that his presence has gone unnoticed as he walks the busy streets of New York.

One of Bieber’s friends, Alfredo Flores, shared a video on Instagram with the caption: When #Gyrados decides to pop up across the street from Central Park and all hell breaks loose! (sic).”

The video was also acknowledged and shared by the singer’s manager, Scooter Braun, adding: “This is amazing. @johnny lol. @justinbieber and @alfredoflores in nyc looking for Pokémon and no one looks at who is next to them (sic).”

Other celebrities are also actively playing the game, including Lily Allen, who has been catching Pokemon at the Church of Scientology Celebrity Center in Hollywood.

The 31-year-old tries to dedicate as much time to it as possible. She has shared a few moments with fans via Twitter.

The singer recently posted on Twitter: “Just at church #Sunday (sic)”

Allen – who has daughters Ethel and Marnie with her estranged husband Sam Cooper – loves the game because it provides her with an escape.

Pokemon Go was released on July 6 to critical acclaim. The game has reportedly earned Nintendo over $14 million less than a week after release. Some businesses have established dedicated sections for players, with the hopes of people spending money on the their products during their stay.
