Courtney Cox has been inspired by Jennifer Aniston’s wedding and is reportedly taking lessons for her own nuptials.
Cox, who got back with Johnny McDaid earlier this years after briefly breaking up, was impressed by the success of Aniston and her husband Justin Theroux. More specifically, the Desperate Housewives star admired the secrecy behind their wedding and now plans to approach her wedding in a similar fashion.
An insider said: “Courteney was really impressed by Jennifer’s wedding to Justin Theroux. It all went without a hitch and they managed to keep it secret. Courteney loves the idea of having a backyard homespun wedding, just like Jen, who has been sharing all of her best contacts.”
The source continued: “Courteney is thought to have already met with jewellery designer Jennifer Meyer to talk about wedding rings, as well as Charm City Cakes to discuss the wedding cake.”
The couple reconciled earlier this year, but it is only recently that everyone learned about their plans to get married.
The source stated: “They tentatively gave things another go earlier this year and have since decided they’re serious about going ahead with the marriage. Now they’re moving full steam ahead to get everything arranged.”
The Friends actress and the Snow Patrol hitmaker are looking forward to keeping the wedding as simple and as low-key as possible. There is currently no date planned, however.
The source explained to Grazia magazine: “Still, because it hasn’t been an entirely smooth ride, they’re keen to keep things low-key. They want something relaxed that’s just a celebration of their love.”
