At age 51, Sandra Bullock has been through a fair share of ups and downs with marriage and relationships. After divorcing Jesse James following cheating accusations on his part, Bullock is now dating photographer Bryan Randall and the romance appears increasingly serious.
While the couple is reportedly happy, a former teacher of Bullock’s feels her late mother would not have approved of her current relationship.
Geraldine Filpi told the National Enquirer: “I don’t think she should marry Bryan. If her mother was still alive, there’s no way Sandra should marry him. Sandra just has poor judgment in men and seems to keep making really bad choices. You know, she’s a great actress, but she’s already so successful and has a wonderful family now. So why bother taking risks? I pray for her. I pray she steers away from the bad men.”
The 81-year-old knew Bullock’s mother, Helga Mathilde Meyer, who died in 2000 at age 58 from colon cancer.
A source recently revealed that Bullock and Randall were in love and doing well in their relationship, saying: “They are still very much in love. Sandra and Bryan see spending their lives together but haven’t spoken about marriage to anyone yet. They are the kind of people that would do a small wedding, if anything, or without anyone knowing if they decide to get married.”
The insider also shared: “Bryan has officially moved in with Sandra. He still has his home as well, but lives with Sandra full time. They have been spending most of their time together. Bryan treats Sandra’s children like his own. He really is a great father figure. Sandra is the happiest she has ever been.”
