Lady Gaga’s producer, RedOne, recently talked about her latest album which includes a total of eight tracks so far. RedOne, whose real name is Nadir Khayat, also worked with Gaga’s debut album, The Fame.
When asked what to expect from the new project, RedOne said, “It’s a mixture of classic music and futuristic too – I didn’t want to go too far from what she is. We kept it [similar to] what Gaga is what she’s done all these years. It’s special. All I know is that we did eight great songs so far, and I think we have incredible songs.”
The iconic producer also told People magazine about the first time he met the now-superstar. And when we did ‘Just Dance‘ and all the music we were doing, it was different; it was special. I wanted to break a new sound. I didn’t want to follow every producer that was doing the same thing. And I did that sound, and it worked, and it changed music in the world. Dance music broke after that,” he added.
The pop sensation has also collaborated with Mark Ronson, a DJ who has also worked with other artists including Uptown Funk hitmaker Bruno Mars. In fact, he is currently teaching Gaga how to play the guitar.
He had previously stated, “She’s never played guitar in public before. She’s great on piano but guitar is something she is learning for this record. And she just smashed it. I showed her things and she’s such a fast learner and as a performer her charisma is insane so she could have carried it anyway.”
