Christie Brinkley uses hose on woman peeing near her property

Christie Brinkley took it upon herself to spray Erica Remuks with a garden hose after catching her squatting on the Sag Harbor Cove sand near her home in the Hamptons. The incident took place on Saturday night.

Remuk said Brinkley screamed at her, saying, “What are you doing?! You can’t pee in front of my house! You have to go away. You’re standing on my rocks. You can’t pee on my rocks. I walk there!” She didn’t initially recognize the 62-year-old former model. Remuk said the section of sand she was standing or squatting on was public property.

She told the New York Post, “These are not your rocks. This is not your beach. The beach is public property. You don’t own it.” Brinkley then pulled out her garden hose and sprayed Remuk, a 36-year-old hairdresser, from approximately 30 feet away. Remuk added, “I hadn’t even peed yet, by the way.”

The victim then relieved herself while standing on the sand, prompting Brinkley to film the incident on her cell phone. Remuk continued by adding, “I would not have peed if she didn’t spray me. After that, I kind of had to.”

After Brinkley called the police, they interviewed the hairdresser and decided not to give her a citation. Police told the New York Post they would not press charges unless they saw the incident happen, but a local official did confirm Remuk was on public property. There was no comment from Brinkley after the incident.
