Keri Russell had a new baby with husband Matthew Rhys back in May, and the couple has now revealed his name is Sam.
Speaking on The Today Show, the 40-year-old actress shared: “We had a boy named Sam. He’s so good. He’s big and fat and nice.”
Keri already had two children from Shane Deary, while Rhys is a first-time dad. She explained that he is handling everything perfectly and is “doing so well.”
“Keri and Matt both look overjoyed and are over the moon to be new parents. They are always snapping pictures of the baby, and family and friends have been sending gifts. Keri’s mother and brother have been staying with them, spending all their time doting over the baby,” a source had previously stated while speaking about the tot.
The Americans actors have been rather private about their relationship, making their first public appearance in 2014 after dating for some time.
“They are always together and love roaming around New York. Matthew is really in love. They feel they should have always been together,” a source said about the two.
Keri is said to enjoy and fully embrace the freedom her role provides on the hit drama, in which she and Rhys play KGB agents pretending to be an ordinary, American married couple.
Keri said: “It’s not this big sweeping romantic movie where you have to be so in love and so beautiful and so sexy. You’re usually using the sexuality, at least in the spy end of it, to get something. So there is kind of a freedom in that, because it’s kind of messier or more direct than that.”
