Nick Carter reportedly spent $50,000 on son’s nursery

Nick Carter has reportedly spent $50,000 on a nursery for his new son, Odin Reign.

Carter and wife Lauren Kitt welcomed the newborn back in April, prompting them to make his surroundings as comfortable as possible.

The Backstreet Boys singer paid celebrity designers Stephanie Avila and Tori Swain to handle the new nursery. The couple chose a steampunk wallpaper along with an industrial motif as the main layout.

Some of the more expensive items included a $2,500 couch, a $700 crib, $1,200 on lighting fixtures and a $550 lamp.

Lauren, who married Nick in 2014, was said to endure labor for approximately 30 hours.

“She had a very difficult labor. It was hard on her. Of course, there was a happy ending!” said a source about the actress.

Nick actively acknowledged his wife for remaining “super cool” during her pregnancy, cherishing their time together before the baby was born.

“You know the thing with my wife is that she is super cool… When it comes to the life I have [Lauren] is making the process really amazing and comfortable.”

Nick further added, “It’s cool to have some time to prepare. I’ve really been thinking about living in the moment and enjoying every day that I have with my wife. I’m enjoying the process, because I’ve heard that your life will change and your priorities will change and that’s great. So we are enjoying the time we have right now.”

Nick had appeared on Dancing with the Stars along with professional dancer Sharma Burgess in 2015. The singer also wrote the zombie-based movie Dead 7, which aired on the SyFy channel earlier this year.
