Axl Rose is creating new music for Guns N’ Roses

At 54 years old, Guns ‘N Roses lead singer Axl Rose has been working on new songs for the group. However, the artist is not yet sure whether band members Slash and Duff McKagan will be part of them and reunite, even though they approve of the songs.

Sir David Tang of London’s China Exchange spoke with Rose during an interview. “I got a lot of stuff together, and I played some stuff for Slash and Duff and they liked it, and they might be on it,” he stated.

He also opened up about his professional relationship with Slash, adding, “Slash and I hadn’t talked in 19 years, and it was a good talk. And, I was like, you wrote a lot of stuff that didn’t even happen. It’s not real. It’s tough because I haven’t figured out how to word things in a way that doesn’t just look like I’m being negative to everybody else and calling them a liar.”

The singer is also taking to Angus Young of AC/DC about possibly recording new tracks for the group. Regarding the possible collaboration with Angus Young, Rose said, “Angus [Young] and I talked about working together. So we’ll see.”

Rose is still contemplating about writing a “tell-all” book about his time with Guns ‘N Roses, which will shed light and his version of events regarding the rocky relationship between him and Slash.

The artist is currently on tour with AC/DC, stepping in for singer Brian Johnson.
