Kate Hudson and company make a splash at Goldie Hawn’s charity event

Accomplished actress Goldie Hawn holds an annual event for her charity, The Hawn Foundation, titled Goldie’s Love In For Kids. The 70-year-old brought her partner of 33 years, Kurt Russell, along with Kate and Oliver Hudson and their kids to the event. Wyatt Russell also attended to support the family, making Friday night a family affair for Goldie, whose grandchildren stole the show as they dressed to impress.

Hawn’s non-profit organization enriches children through educational programs, referred to as Mind Up. These help improve academic performance through Buddhist techniques that assist in reducing stress and increasing concentration.

Various celebrities showed up for the event to support Hawn’s charity. As an avid supporter of the LGBT community, Boy George prominently showed up to show his support. Other celebrities included Paula Abdul, Rachel Zoe, Nicole Richie, and Tara Reid.

Hudson proved her singing talent before on Glee and used it once again at the charity event. She took to the stage to sing Nothing Compares 2 U, the Sinead O’Connor hit written by the late Prince. The performance was subsequently added to her Snapchat account for fans to enjoy.

Hawn was quick to jump on stage for a dance performance in her pink ensemble, while Hudson posted an Instagram picture with the caption, “Go Mama Goldie! What a great night #GoldiesLoveIn #MindUp #DancinMama #YesThatsMamaInPink.”

She had also posted an Instagram picture with the caption, “Nothing like dancing with the stars at my Love-in for kids last night. They made the night rock! #forevergrateful #happydancing.”
