Khloe Kardashian seeks curvy models for new denim line

Found in small print at the bottom of a recent Instagram selfie, Khloe Kardashian reveals to be in search for new models to join a new line of denim she is working on.

“I’m looking for beautiful, powerful women to star with me in a campaign for my new denim brand! Details at theGAproject.com,” the caption reads along the photo posted Wednesday on the popular social network.

The campaign looks for aspiring models who reside in the United States and are over the age of 18. All candidates are invited to submit their shots and Instagram accounts by May 7.

The denim line has been mostly kept under wraps, and it is simply described as a brand that acknowledges curves and refrains from using “fashion establishment.”

There is currently little information about the technical details either, with no specifics about the cuts, styles, pricing or stockists. It is also unknown which stores will ultimately carry the clothing, and whether these will be made available outside the U.S. immediately.

“The shape we lust for has curves, not the straight body of the fashion establishment,” the GA Project’s official website reads. “We do not look to authoritarian fashion titles for guidance… We believe in America and we believe in our community. We are all good, regardless of our shape or heritage.”

It is also worth noting that Khloe Kardashian is not the only celebrity calling for or crowdsourcing everyday models. Jared Leto, an established ambassador for Carrera eyewear, recently held a casting call for “real people” to apply for the brand’s upcoming advertisements.
