‘Biggest Loser’ Ali Vincent has gained back former weight

After becoming the first female to win The Biggest Loser in 2008, Ali Vincent admits to gaining a large majority of her weight back. The former contestant had lost over 110 pounds and subsequently won the season.

Her charisma and ability to maintain a healthy weight led her to landing a reality show on ABC’s Live Well Network titled Live Big with Ali Vincent, which aired from 2011 to 2014.

Vincent posted on Facebook that after winning the show, she “experienced ultimate highs that I could have never dreamed of as well as nightmares I wouldn’t wish on an enemy.” Her post also touched on how depressed the former weight had made her and swore she would never get to the heavier weight again.

After breaking her promise, however, Vincent wrote, “I feel like failure.”

Oprah Winfrey’s OWN series, Where Are They Now? included a Skype interview with Vincent. She recalled the awful comments about how fat she was after a Facebook Live chat. That subsequently led her to being depressed once again and not getting out of bed due to the shame.

The former contestant has since decided to step up and take action once more. She plans on dropping the pounds and recently joined Weight Watchers.

“For me, it’s not about a number this time. Even though a number is a way for me to track and I do know, at a specific number, how I feel, you know, in that number range. But it is about feeling my best self. Like, I want to be my best self. I want to feel good about myself”, then adding “I want to love myself at any size and throughout the sizes.”
