TMZ recently reported that there is evidence of Prince being aware of his untimely death. While questions about his passing remain, in addition to whether or not he was addicted to pain medication, now this rumor has caused even more confusion to an already baffling case.
Prince had started his memoir not long ago and managed to write about 50 pages. Those close to him said he thought about writing it for several years, and something had suddenly triggered the need to compose it.
After his emergency landing for a health scare earlier in April, the late singer reportedly told a crowd, “Wait a few days before you waste any prayers.” Sources also said that Prince was upset over the news about his hospitalization, as he didn’t want people to think he was already dead.
Many say Prince’s volt on the Paisley Park estate hold thousands of songs never recorded for any of his albums. Whether or not Prince’s death was expected, the artist was always fiercely protective of his music.
Prince’s sister, Tyka Nelson, filed documents in court suggesting there is no known will and asked to have a special administrator oversee his estate.
Having no will could potentially leave his music in the hands of the highest bidder. Under Minnesota law, his closest living relatives, which include six sisters and brothers, would share the estate equally. Reports have suggested his estate is worth $200 to $800 million.
