You can now have crab bisque cooked by chef robot

Science and technology have changed the way man lives and carries out his routine activities. In fact, robots have in many homes and commercial spaces taken the place of human beings. These man-made creatures are leaving no stone unturned to do successfully what human beings can do wherever and whenever they possibly can. A UK based company has successfully created a robot that is capable of preparing crab bisque for you.

In the Hanover Messe robotics fair that was recently organized in Germany, a company based out of the UK surprised and shocked the world with their creation. The company unveiled what they claim to be the world’s first robotic chef. This robot is programmed to observe and capture the moments of a human chef and replicate them.

A camera with 3D technology is used by this robot to capture moments. Having successfully captured the moments, this robot is capable of successfully recreating them as well.

The creators of the robot say that they have tested their creation. In a kitchen located in East London, the robot was made to capture the moments of Tim Anderson, who is the finalist of Masterchef Champion 2011 season. Tim Anderson made crab bisque then. This robot finds and picks up butter from the many ingredients that were placed on the table. The butter is then melted by the robot. Next, all the necessary ingredients and the seasoning are added in just the right proportion by the robot. In less than half an hour or so, this robot produced a bisque that more than just impressed those present.

This robot is capable of observing and reproducing just one recipe. However, consumers would want and expect the robot to take the place of a human in the kitchen. The company is positive that they will create a digital library that will contain recipes of about 2,000 dishes. This highly placed sources in the company informed the public.

Will this robot take the place of a human chef in the kitchen is what is what only time can tell. Until then it is happy cooking for human beings.
