Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown rushed to hospital after being found unconscious in bathtub

The 21 year old daughter of singer Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina Brown, was rushed to an Atlanta hospital after her husband and a friend found her face down and not breathing in a water filled bathtub at their suburban Atlanta home. The only daughter of the deceased singer was reportedly in medically induced coma, after she was found in a condition very painfully reminiscent of her mother’s death.

TMZ reported that the star child had been put into a medically induced coma due to a swelling on the brain.

“Right now, I can’t comment on any condition because of the HIPAA laws, but I can tell you she is still alive,” Roswell, Ga., police spokeswoman Lisa Holland said in an early evening press briefing.

The authorities are still not aware as to what caused the 21 year old to lose consciousness in the tub, though a tabloid said she had collapsed after an accidental drug overdose.

As soon as husband Nick Gordon found Kristina to be unresponsive and lying in that condition, he performed CPR on her. This helped save her life, just 12 days before hr mom had lost her life in a similar fashion in a drug addled bathtub in Beverly Hills.

A recording of the rescue call captured a voice reporting a “possible cardiac arrest.”

“CPR in progress,” the rescue worker is heard telling a dispatcher at one point. “She is gurgling at this time.”

Her 45 year old dad, R&B singer Bobby Brown, arrived at the North Fulton Hospital with actor Tyler Perry.

Bobbi Kristina’s other family members said they were optimistic. “She’s been through a lot,” first cousin Jerod Brown, who goes by YF Kennedy, “But she’s a tiger. She’s going to pull through it.”

The cops who scoured her home after the gruesome incident however found no drugs inside.
