After Christina Milian coaxed her mom into getting herself inked on her birthday, she couldn’t just sit and watch. She had to join in, she says. That she did by getting her nipple pierced. She later, however, said that it was extremely painful. Worse than childbirth too, only that it lasted much shorter this time!
‘I’m super proud of her [my mother] for getting this tattoo, but now I want to get something pierced. And when I say something, I mean my nipple,’ the 33-year-old is seen saying in a new preview for her reality TV series, Christina Milian Turned up.
Christina’s mom and manager, Carmen Milian, is a single mother whose husband deserted her to marry his mistress when the singer-actress was about 15. She has since raised her three beautiful girls single-handedly. She feels that her job is to protect her family no matter the circumstance.
‘I’ve always said I wanted a tattoo but i didn’t necessarily say I wanted it today on my birthday,’ said Carmen.
Christina actually pleaded her mom into getting herself inked, it is being said. ‘You haven’t lived till you’ve gotten a tattoo,’ she says she told her mom. But hats off to the sporting mom who complied- most moms would contort their faces and turn up their nose even if the kids sought their approval for a tat- and look at the cool mom agreeing to go under the needle herself!!
Christina Milian was also pictured topless at the piercing parlor and the expression on Christina’s face makes it more than obvious how obnoxiously painful the procedure must have been!
She later applauded herself for having endured that before stating, ‘Oh my god that hurt so bad. My nipple is in pain.’
In a confession, Christina compared her piercing to childbirth, which she experienced in February 2010 as she welcomed her four-year-old daughter Violet.
‘Getting my nipple pierced was definitely worse than childbirth. It was quicker though,’ the entertainer said.
‘Child birth – 19 hours, piercing – 2 seconds,’ she explained.
