James Bond actor Khan Bonfils dies during rehearsal

Khan Bonfils, an actor who has acted in a James Bond film has collapsed and died during the rehearsal for an upcoming theater production at London.

The actor was aged 43, and he was rehearsing an upcoming stage production of Dante’s Inferno when he collapsed.

Dante’s Inferno was due to open at The Rag Factory in east London. Within no time, the members of the Craft Theatre company and paramedics started their attempts to save his life, but all their efforts went in vain.

As per Chris Hislop, the Spokesman of Craft Theatre company, Khan Bonfils collapsed during the time of rehearsal. As soon as he collapsed, director Rockey Rodriguez Jr gave him Cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

 

An ambulance was called out, but before that Khan took his last breath. He added that the cause of the death is still unknown.

Craft Theater announced the death of Khan Bonfils through a statement. The statement read that the death of Khan is such a tragedy, and the whole crew will miss him very badly. The theater is now planning to look for another actor to do the role of Khan.

Khan Bonfils was shot to fame after his role in ‘Star Wars: Episode 1 The Phantom Menace’. He enacted the role of Jedi master Saesee Tiin in the film alongside Liam Neeson and Ewan McGregor.

Some of the other films in which he acted includes, ‘Skyfall’, ‘Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life’, ‘Batman Begins’ etc. Apart from these films, he appeared in many stages of ‘West End’ productions.
