Popular actress Angelina Jolie released a message on December 12, 2014, saying that she is down with Chicken pox and won’t be able to attend the various events that are lined for the release of her directed film, “Unbroken”.
In an exclusive picture, which has been released on Universal Pictures on YouTube, Jolie said, “I just want to be clear and honest why I will be missing the ‘Unbroken’ events in the next few days, which is that I found out last night that I have chicken pox.”
“Unbroken” is the second film as a director by Jolie and is set in World War Two. The story tells the story of Louis Zamperini, who was a prisoner of war and also an Olympic runner.
The premiere of the movie is scheduled for December 15, 2014 in Los Angeles. The theatre release is set for December 25.
Early on Thursday when the 72nd Golden Globe Nominations were announced, the film failed to get nominated in any category.
Jolie further expressed her thoughts saying that she will be missing the action but doesn’t have choice than to be at home.
The 39-year old actress is married to actor Brad Pitt and has three biological and three adopted children.
