South Indian actress Padampriya tied the knot with her long-term friend Jasmine Shah in Mumbai on Wednesday.
The couple got married in Arya Samaj style with only their close friends and family members in attendance.
Both the actress and her husband Jasmine used to study in the New York City.
Padampriya was pursuing her master’s degree in Public Administration from New York University. Jasmine was also pursuing his master’s degree in Public Administration from Columbia University.
The couple met each other while they were doing their master’s degree. The duo looked very happy after getting married. Jasmine is the Policy Head for South Asia with Jamal Abdul Lateef Poverty Action Lab, headquartered in Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Padampriya declared that she won’t leave the movie industry even after her marriage. She will continue her star life now also.
Padampriya is a Delhi born model and multilingual actress who had played important roles in several movies like “Thamassu” and “Aidondla Aidu”.
She played her debut role in the Malayalam movie “Kaazhcha”. Padampriya received National Special Jury Award, three times Filmfare Award and also Tamil Nadu State award for her contribution in Indian films.
