Tammin and Shakib the two Bangladeshi hunks were in full swing in the batsmen friendly Khunla pitch during the 2nd day of the second test against Zimbabwe, and this helped the home team to reach a reasonable score of 433 in the first innings.
In reply to Bangladesh’s 433, Zimbabwe started their batting in a slow yet steady manner. The visitors have scored 59 runs with the loss of one wicket in the end of second day.
The Zimbabwe bowlers were literally seen struggling against Tammim and Shakib. Panyangara and Chigumbura who put up a decent show in the first day was a complete failure in the second, and they failed to create magic in a pitch which offered nothing for the bowlers.

Zimbabwe’s second innings started in a shaky manner. They lost their opener Sikander Raza when the team’s total reached 17.
He was locked leg before the wicket in a beautiful delivery by Taijul Islam. After the departure of Raza, Zimbabwe batsmen became more vigilant, and they managed to complete the day without any further losses.
Hamilton Masakadza and debutant opener Brian Chari succeeded to to take their side to stumps with one batsman down, and the same consistency is expected from them in the first session of third day as well.
The ball may start spinning from the third day, and this may go in favor of the experienced Bangladeshi spinners. Zimbabwe batsmen to keep calm, and should show their mettle to fight back in this match.
