Ingram Micro, the authorized distributor of iPhone in India, has said on October 6, 2014 that the pre-booking for the recently launched iPhone 6 will start on October 7.
Both the new models, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6, will be available for sale across the retail stores in India from October 17, 2014.
A report on Hindu mentioned that Ingram Micro has confirmed the pre-booking through a statement.

Customers looking to grab iPhone 6 can pre-order the models from October 7, 2014 right from 12.01 a.m at all the major outlets of the partners.
The booking will also be available on the website of Ingram, apart from the 1,200 retail outlets in a total of 24 cities in India.
The new Apple iPhone 6 will be available for a price of Rs 53,500 for the 16GB variant, said a report on Times of India. The 64GB version of the same model is priced at Rs 62,500, and the 128GB version will come for Rs 71,500.
The larger Apple iPhone 6 Plus has been priced at Rs 62,500 for the 16GB variant, while the version will be available at Rs 71,500. The largest 128GB version is set at Rs 80,500.
Apart from Ingram Micro, authorized distributors of iPhone include Redington, Reliance, and Rashi Peripherals.
Long before the official prices of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus were declared, the phones were being sold in the grey market for as much as Rs. 1 lac.
Available in 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB versions, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 has a 8 megapixel rear camera with a 1.2 Mp front camera and supports all networks, including 4G.
While iPhone 6 comes with a 4.7 inch screen, iPhone 6 plus has been given a big 5.5 inch display.
