Watch: ‘Manwa Lage’ Song of SRK-Deepika from ‘Happy New Year’ crosses 1 million views on YouTube

The next number that comes from the ‘Happy New Year’ banner is the much hyped ‘Manwa Lage’ which was expected to be able to lure the audiences at large but as it seems the song will not be upto the mark.

Sung by the two pioneers of the music industry, Arijit Singh & Shreya Ghoshal,its music is not very different but exactly like a romantic song will be.

The number has more focus on SRK’s much hyped 10 pack abs and some ‘latka jhatkas’ from Deepika’s end.

Whether you will be humming the song again and again completely depends from person to person but this composition by Vishal-Shekhar tries to pull out all the romantic stops. Though pleasant the only problem that the number entails is that it does not linger a very memorable tone.

The song is more about Shah Rukh Khan’s ultimately low pants, pooling around his ankles and he does a splendid job looking smitten when Deepika dances and looks deep into his eyes all through the length of the song. Unlike Shahrukh, Deepika has her clothes on the entire time and she has done a good job looking pretty and sweet.

Everything is good about the song but Farah Khan would only regret not adding any recall value to the song. She has given the song and for that matter her movie the kind of humorous angle we would expect from her films only, yet one would look out for something more, at least from ‘Manwa Lage.’
