Stunning fans around the world, Cory Allen Contemporary Art (CACA) has made an announcement that recently leaked images of actresses Kate Upton and Jennifer Lawrence will be added to to Los Angeles artist XVALA’s “Fear Google” exhibit.
An E-Online report says that the images in the unaltered form will be made available to the public in the campaign for the show titled “No Delete”.
Publicist Cory Allen said, “”XVALA appropriating celebrity compromised images and the overall ‘Fear Google’ campaign has helped strengthen the ongoing debate over privacy in the digital era. The commentary behind this show is a reflection of who we are today. We all become ‘users’ and in the end, we become ‘used.”
Strangely, the recent leak from iCloud has come through a lot of criticism with many actors expressing their anger.
The images that were leaked showed Lawrence in compromising nude positions, which seemed like both selfies and images taken by someone. However, more images will be up for the campaign spanning from seven years of the artist’s collection.
Now the leaked images will be printed on large canvas without any alteration. Other images that are a part of the exhibit include naked images of actress Scarlett Johansson and Britney Spears with shaved head.
XVALA on his part said, “In today’s culture, everybody wants to know everything about everybody. An individual’s privacy has become everyone else’s business. It has become cash for cache.”
“No Delete” is all set to open on Oct. 30, 2014, and it remains to be seen how fans and starts react to the exhibit.
