After nude images of Academy winning actress Jennifer Lawrence surfaced on an image sharing site on August 31, 2014, actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead also talked of being a victim of images leaded online.
The actress’s private moments with her director husband Riley Stearns were leaked on the media.
Winstead had taken the images from an electronic device, but had deleted them soon after. However, her private moments were soon splashed on social media on Sunday, in what people is calling one of biggest hacking scandals in recent times.
Knowing those photos were deleted long ago, I can only imagine the creepy effort that went into this. Feeling for everyone who got hacked.

The hacker seems to have got the images from iCloud account of Winstead. Reports suggested that model Kate Upton and actress Teresa Palmer are other celebs targeted by the hacker.
The images stolen were posted on image sharing website 4chan.
To those of you looking at photos I took with my husband years ago in the privacy of our home, hope you feel great about yourselves.

Winstead chose to use Twitter for expressing her anger, “To those of you looking at photos I took with my husband years ago in the privacy of our home, hope you feel great about yourselves.”
“Knowing those photos were deleted long ago, I can only imagine the creepy effort that went into this. Feeling for everyone who got hacked,” she further posted.
The anonymous user who posted the images claimed to have hacked many stars. This is a clear indication that deleting images and having leaks can be synonymous to one another. With iCloud enabled, backups of images are taken automatically.
It remains to be seen on how Apple reacts to the leaks.
Celebrity account hacks have happened in the past, in which close to 50 accounts was hacked by the same person, who was sentenced to 10 years in hail in 2010.
